OVER 40 YEARS OF TESTING & VALIDATION
Drawings and finite element analysis are great tools, but we are always eager to prove our new designs in the real world. Starting with fatigue cycle testing, we strive for at least 2x the standard laid out by CEN (the European Committee which determines minimum safety standards for bicycles and components sold in Europe). We apply the same stringent standards to impact testing, meaning that before a proposed design finds its way onto a tester’s bike, it has already been proven structurally and then some. In 2006, we aligned ourselves with a respected German test lab in order to verify our own testing results. This outside authentication keeps us honest and ensures product releases meet the highest standards. Once a product clears machine testing, prototype samples endure rigorous use by both amateur and professional riders alike, including our sponsored athletes around the world. By the time you put it on your bike, it has passed a global testing and approval process second to none.”
Problems with control?
November 26th, 2013XFusion and Fox Suspension are quality products in our book and don’t think we aren’t supporters of Sram/Rock Shox! We can help you pick the right fork for your bike and install it professionally. We can do most fork rebuilds and services but we also use outside experts such as Suspension Experts located in Asheville, NC.  …….26″, 27.5″, 29″….no problem.

Weekly FCP Thirsty Thursday Road Rides have started!
March 29th, 20133 weeks into the season and we’re off to a good start! Good attendance so far and the loop is a fun as ever!  Our Thursday road rides leave from the shop at 5:30pm. The intermediate and beginner riders find groups and leave just after 5:30pm. The faster group leaves closer to 6pm and averages over 18 mph. All groups should expect to ride 25 miles at a group pace. No drop. We’ve been recently heading to Senor Taco or Central Flats and Taps to quench our thirst post ride. We are ready for some warmer evenings so we can fire up the grill here at the shop and chill in the parking lot(Grill & Chill). Also, our Saturday Road rides are gaining momentum with new people each week depending on weather. We ride the same loop but occasionally take people on the additional loop around House Mtn making the loop into a 35 mile ride. There are some more great views and some extra hills too. The 25 mile route is always an option on Saturdays too. Inquire within if you need more information about our rides and for questions about buying a road bike. We are proud to offer Raleigh Bikes, Marin Bikes, Surly Bikes, Soma Bikes, Cysco Custom Cycles and more….    Give us a call 865-357-1580 or check us out on Facebook.
Here’s some pictures from recent rides and the Raleigh bikes demo.
